Whether you love snakes, lizards, frogs, or turtles, Reptile Realms was founded in 2011 with the hopes of becoming your destination for all things reptile. Our original plan was to start some online sales, open a brick and mortar location, and eventually go into show promotion. Things don't always go as planned, but we continue to work on our goals (though kind of out of order). After a couple of years of selling feeder insects, Reptile Realms partnered with Ka Nalu Productions to bring a new reptile show to Pleasanton, CA. Then in 2014, after our second event, an opportunity arose to produce an event in San Jose. It was decided that Ka Nalu Productions would continue the event in Pleasanton under a different name, and Reptile Realms would go on to host The San Jose Reptile Show. We built The San Jose Reptile Show into the Bay Area's Largest Reptile event, and have continued that tradition in the Central Valley with our Tulare Reptile Show. During the 2020 Pandemic, we renewed our old feeder insect business by launching Bay Area Bugs ( www.BayAreaBugs.com ).
